Fred was born and raised in New York City and has attended the prestigious Actor’s Studio as an observer for many years. After finishing his residency in medicine, he returned to the theater and has combined acting and medicine careers for over 30 years. He retired from medicine 17 years ago to dedicate his attention to acting and producing. The thriller “Sombras” is the first production his production company,  Mircova Productions Inc, is producing with Dimitri Series LLC.

Fred has won multiple awards both in the Spanish and English theater as best actor and also as supporting actor. He has played multiple characters in many TV shows including Law & Order, The Sopranos, Guiding Light, New York Undercover, Third Watch, A Leg Up (Forensic File) and many more. He has also acted in Spanish soap operas for Telemundo and Univision including Innocent De Ti, Tierra De Pasiones, Una Maid En Manhattan, Santa Diabla, Ruta 35 and more. Movies like Spare Change, Illegals, Carpe Diem, I Love Miami, Cross Bronx, Lone Star, Big Smile, Got Parking and many more. He has written multiple plays such as I Am A Winner, The Psychiatrist, Julio Gomez The Politician, Indomitable Jackeline and many more.

Marco Valdez has been involved in a plethora of projects from music videos, documentaries, commercials and lately, feature films. His creative and technical know-how have been soaked in every production that he is part of and the results speak for themselves. Sombras, however, is the production that Marco is the proudest of. He saw the demand on shows like this one in the Hispanic-American demographics and along with Ricardo Valdez and Fred Valle, they developed a concept that will transform into a wider market demographic.

The creative and production team that he put together for Sombras, was essential for the standard that this high-concept required.

Ricardo Valdez is a dynamic and highly creative writer and director with over 10 years of experience directing a wide range of projects including documentaries, commercials and feature films. The experience in the film and television industries that Ricardo has is very broad. In the beginning, he had the opportunity to work in in the news department  at local television channels in Miami, FL as producer, director, cinematographer, and editor. This experience taught him to move with speed and take immediate and effective decisions in order to obtain the proper content that is always found in high quality broadcast productions.

Later, he had the opportunity to work in small, medium and very large productions in the lighting and camera departments. It was a wonderful opportunity that allowed him to learn the styles and techniques of experienced directors and cinematographers with over 30 years of professional work.

After several years gathering vast and invaluable experiences, Ricardo began to work as director and cinematographer in several commercial, feature films and documentaries.

As a director, Ricardo enjoys creating new worlds and complex characters that tell a story where the audience gets carried away with excitement and intrigue.

Juan Carlos Valdez has acquired vast experience in many aspects of the film and television industry.
