Dimitri Volkov, a funeral home director, constantly bears witness to the city’s relentless violence—through the massacred bodies he is left to restore and the grief of the families and friends left behind. He hears their cries for revenge but warns against answering violence with more bloodshed.

When an unknown group of men murders his daughter and kidnaps his granddaughter, Dimitri abandons his own convictions. Consumed by rage, he becomes obsessed with delivering justice as quickly as possible, feeding his growing thirst for vengeance.

Racing against time to find his granddaughter, with the odds overwhelmingly stacked against him, his mission seems doomed from the start. However, with the unexpected aid of an otherworldly entity with its own agenda, he gains the power to exact revenge—not just on those who wronged him, but on all who prey upon the weak.

In a city overrun with evil, horrific violence, deranged criminals, and nightmarish creatures, Dimitri will slowly transform into what he despises most.
